Summary

Ghost of the Night is a survival horror game where you are stranded near a campfire in a snowy forest. Your objective as the player is to survive as long as you can. As your demise is inevitable.

Gameplay

To survive, you must gather sticks from the nearby forest to keep your campfire burning. You can also light sticks on fire to go in search of sticks. If the campfire goes out, you are dead sort of, you will respawn again making some sort of infinite loop.

Mechanics

• You can light sticks on right by Left clicking them on the campfire

• On the first night, you need to pick up sticks near the campfire. After that, you will have to go into the forest to get sticks.

• The sticks randomly in the forest

• If you go out without a torch, you will have to find out your self about that.

Controls

• Move: WASD

• Sprint: Left Shift

• Pick Up: Left Mouse Button

• Light Stick on fire: Left Mouse Button

• Interact: Right Mouse

• Drop: Enter or Return Key

• Pause: Escape or P

No UI: In line with the Goedware Game Jam Zero UI edition, the game features two buttons on the main menu for basic functionality:

• Play Game
• Quit Game

And two more buttons for pausing and exiting: when you ragequit out of the game:

• Resume Game
• Quit Game
